Storage
7.1
Storage conditions
CAUTION
!
If you fail to ensure proper storage conditions, the
chemical protective suit may be damaged!
Store the chemical protective suit in a dark, cool, dry and
airy place without pressure or stress.
Keep out of UV light and direct sunlight; avoid ozone.
Observe the storage temperature (see Chap. 9 on
Page 32).
7.2
Preparing for storage
1. Close the fastener system up to approx. 5 cm before the
end. Regularly check whether the fastener system is still
adequately greased.
2. Pull the flat bag supplied over the hood in such a way that
the cylindrical visor remains in shape.
3. If the chemical protective suit is folded together, pull the
supplied flat bag over the safety boots so that the chemical
protective suit is not discoloured.
7.3
Storage of the chemical protective suit
The following storage options are possible:
Lay the chemical protective suit flat during storage. If the
chemical protective suit is stored in the utility vehicle, avoid
wear due to constant friction against the storage surface.
Hang up the chemical protective suit on an appropriate
hanger or a hanging rail. The hood or protective boots must
be in contact with the ground.
Fold up the chemical protective suit and store it in a
transport case, storage bay or carrying bag.
Pack the chemical protective suit in a CPS storage and
transportation bag.
NOTICE

Dräger recommends packing the chemical protective
suit in the CPS storage and transportation bag to
protect it from environmental influences and to extend
