Condition: The network connection to the PC or notebook has been estab-
lished.

Note that the changes in the internal server have a direct
effect on the inverter's settings.
Note
If you connect the inverter to a PC or note-
book, you can access the inverter's internal
server.

In there is an existing network connection, read the in-
verter's IP address in the bottom left-hand corner of the
inverter's basic display.
▶
Enter the inverter's IP address in the address field
of your web browser and open the inverter's internal
server.
7.2.2 Settings for Modbus and dynamic feed-in
control
1. Ensure that an approved product has been correctly
connected (→ Page 30)at the inverter's Modbus.
Open Main menu → Settings → Energy management

→ Mode.
3. Select Energymeter.
4. To set an energy meter, for example, open Configura-
tion.
5. Observe the information about the menu items in
the Overview of the end user and display functions
(→ Page 9) in the operating instructions.
6. Set up the inverter for the data connection with an ap-
proved product.
7. If a feed-in limitation is required, set this up based on
the country-specific regulations.
Open Main menu → Settings → Energy management

Settings for PV Ready limit value

1. Ensure that an approved product has been correctly
connected (→ Page 30)at the inverter's RS485 bus.
2. Observe the information about the menu items in
the Overview of the end user and display functions
(→ Page 9) in the operating instructions.
Open Main menu → Settings → Energy management

→ Mode.
4. Check whether Energymeter is selected.
5. If not, select Energymeter.
6. Confirm the selection.
7. Return to the Energy management menu item.
8. Change the PV-ready threshold of your photovoltaic
installation accordingly.
9. If you have any queries regarding setting up the ap-
proved product, contact customer service.

Restarting

1. Ensure that the photovoltaic modules have been set up
and installed correctly.
2. Ensure that the inverter is installed and set up in
accordance with the requirements in the Installation
(→ Page 25) and Set-up (→ Page 23) sections.
3. Ensure that all of the country-specific requirements and
all requirements from the network operator have been
complied with.
4. Connect the product to the alternating current on the
utility connection (switch on the fuse).
5. Switch the load isolator to position (1) in order to switch
the inverter to direct current.
6. Wait a few minutes until the basic display appears.
7. When the installation assistant is displayed, carry out
the 1st commissioning (→ Page 31).

The inverter is now operating again.
8 Handing the product over to the end
user
▶
Inform the end user that they must have the product
maintained in accordance with the specified intervals.
▶
Explain to the end user how the safety devices work and
where they are located.
▶
Inform the end user how to handle the product.
▶
In particular, draw attention to the safety information
which the end user must follow.
▶
Pass all of the instructions and documentation for the
product to the end user for safe-keeping.

Eliminating faults

1. Observe the information on troubleshooting (→ Page 7)
in the operating instructions.
2. Check the generator characteristic (→ Page 34).
3. To eliminate faults or other causes of event messages,
follow the information on Troubleshooting and event
displays (→ Page 44) in the appendix.
4. If the fault occurs more than five times a day or you
cannot eliminate the fault, call customer service.
Note
The basic display shows the current output
power only if sufficient sunlight is shining on
the photovoltaic modules.
