3.3.1 Transducer installation
The transducer is threaded directly
into the diving area.
The installation surface of the
BTL housing must lie fully against
the mating surface. The appro-
priate O-ring must seal the bore
hole perfectly, i.e. the chamfer
for the O-ring must be finished
according to ➥ ➥ ➥ ➥ ➥ Fig. 3-4.
Suitability of the installed O-ring
(Viton GFLT90) must be verified
for the specific application.

Each float is designed so that it
makes electrical contact with the
transducer rod in any orientation.
