The mounting/demounting head is suspended from the pole above the turntable.
The head has mounting and demounting lips that are designed to install or remove the
tyre bead as the wheel is rotated clockwise.

The mounting
lip is on the
left side of
the head.
The head also includes an automatic claw for facilitating the demounting operation.
During mounting the tyre bead is placed on top of mounting lip.
During demounting the tyre bead is placed on top of demounting lip.
