Attention
Repairs should only be carried out by specialised person-
nel. Always contact one of our technical assistance cen-
tres. Failure to respect the above absolves the manufac-
turer of any liability and constitutes negligent use of the
product.
6. OPERATING THE HIGH PRESSURE CLEANER
MACHINE ASSEMBLY
Before starting up, slacken the lateral knobs, position the handle at
the desired height and fully lock the knobs (see Fig. 4). Lock the ma-
chine using the brake on the wheel (see Fig. 4).
ACCESSORIES ASSEMBLY
Accessories are supplied as follows:
• the high pressure pipe, already connected to the automatic spray
gun and the fixed semi-lance;
• nozzle terminal;
• two water nozzles;
• (if requested) the manual hose reel, disassembled: the instruc-
tions are enclosed inside the packaging;
• (if requested) the device for hydrosanding: see paragraph "7" for
instructions.
Other accessories are available as described in the general cata-
logue.
Connect the H.P. pipe, or the linking pipe to hose reel, to the high
pressure water outlet fitting union on the high pressure cleaner (rapid
screw connection).
CONNECTION TO THE WATER MAINS
Using the rubber junction already screwed on to the high pressure
cleaner water input pipe, it is necessary to connect a rubber pipe with
an internal diameter equal to 19 mm (not provided with the machine).
Correct functioning of the high pressure cleaner is obtained if the
supply pressure is at least 1,5-2 bar: with lower pressures, the quantity
of water supplied may not be sufficient. The flow rate for the supply
water must be at least equal to the of the machine nominal flow rate.
The maximum temperature for the supply water must not exceed
40°C; higher temperatures can damage the pump seal gaskets.
The machine is able to aspirate water from the deposit, tanks and
channels subject to use of an appropriate filter.
Attention
The maximum difference in level is 1 m for model 180/17
and 3 m for models 200/21 and 210/25.
Attention
Any solid particles or air bubbles could clog the nozzle or
obstruct correct functioning. To avoid the same, we rec-
ommend carrying out an initial start-up of the high pres-
sure cleaner without the lance, allowing the water to ex-
it for a few seconds.
Then screw the lance on the fixed semi-lance.
7. USING THE HIGH PRESSURE CLEANER
Attention
The machine is provided with an additional instructions
manual drafted by the motor manufacturer, containing
all essential information for current use and mainte-
nance. Read the contents carefully.

START-UP
Attention
Fill the engine fuel tank with lead-free petrol. We rec-
ommend using a protection additive for the petrol, in
quantities in line with those suggested by the manufac-
turer.
START-UP (MOD. 180/17 AND 200/21)
After checking you have carried out the operations as described in
paragraph "6", it is necessary to proceed as follows in order to start:
• position the switch to ON;
• open the fuel faucet;
• position the start-up lever to CHOKE (air);
• start the motor by pulling the self-winding cable.
Attention
If there is insufficient oil or no oil at all the motor will
not start up.
STOP (MOD. 180/17 AND 200/21)
To stop the high pressure cleaner, it is necessary to:
• turn the switch to OFF;
• close the fuel faucet;
• discharge the water under residual pressure in the pipe by pressing
the grip lever.
START-UP (MOD. 210/25 Electric Starting)
After checking you have carried out the operations described in para-
graph "6", it is necessary to proceed as follows in order to start up:
• position the switch to ON and subsequently to start.
Attention
If there is insufficient oil or no oil at all the motor will
not start up.
STOP (MOD. 210/25)
To stop the high pressure cleaner, it is necessary to:
• turn the switch to OFF;
• discharge the water under residual pressure in the pipe by pressing
the grip lever.
USE
Although the high pressure cleaners (Mod. 180/17 and 200/21) are
provided with a device that slows down motor revs when the nozzle is
closed to avoid overheating the motor and pump we recommend avoid-
ing maintaining the machine in this phase for long periods.
The high pressure cleaner is equipped with an easy start valve that
releases some drops of water at start-up and during grip opening and
closing. Slight dripping under the machine in these work phases is
therefore normal.
WASHING WITH DETERGENT
The machine is provided with a device that makes it possible to as-
pirate and supply detergent at low pressure.
• Insert the pipe with a filter in the detergent solution tank;
• open the faucet by rotating the metallic ring nut;
• start up the machine;
• open the nozzle faucet rotating the knob; the pressure will fall to
the value required to start aspiration of the solution;
• apply to the surface to be treated;
• lock the knob on the nozzle; the pressure will rise to the maxi-
mum value for rinsing.
To obtain effective washing, carefully spray the detergent, allow it
to act for a few minutes and, afterwards, thoroughly rinse with a high
pressure jet of water.
Attention
We recommend using only detergents specifically de-
signed for high pressure cleaners; contact your retailer
for advice concerning such products.
Attention
We recommend not using an excessive amount of deter-
gent in order to protect the environment; respect the
doses set out on the detergent package.
