Attention
After use, rinse the machine's hydraulic circuit for at
least 2 minutes, keeping the lever of the spray gun held
down.
WASHING WITH DEVICE FOR HYDROSANDING (Optional Accessory)
By applying the device for hydrosanding to the high pressure
cleaner, it is possible to wash and clean surfaces covered by rust, paint
or hard incrustations.
The device for hydrosanding is easy to apply (see Fig. 5): simply
replace the standard lance with the lance for hydrosanding (1) and
place the sand intake pipe (2) in a suitable container (not supplied) (3),
taking care to use dry sand of a quality appropriate for this pupose
(quartz or silicon sand; contact your retailer) and allowing 30 mm of
pipe to protrude from the sand.

2. Sand intake pipe
3. Sand container (not supplied)
When starting up the high pressure cleaner, the sand (a) is aspirat-
ed, mixed with the water (b) and projected towards the surface to be
treated, freeing it from residues and incrustations.
HANDLING AND RECOVERY
Attention
Before moving the equipment it is necessary to:
• stop the machine in accordance with the indications
set out in the "STOP" paragraph;
• disconnect the electricity supply, removing the plug;
• shut off the water supply tap and unscrew the water in-
let pipe.
After coiling the electric cable and high pressure pipe on the ap-
propriate devices, take hold of the machine using the handle and make
it move on its wheels. By pressing on the handle it is possible to raise
the front wheels, thereby overcoming small obstacles; with the front
wheels raised, and by rotating the unit on its rear ones, it is possible to
orient the machine in the desired direction.
Attention
Never try to manually lift the high pressure cleaner: its
excessive weight could cause serious physical injury.
Attention
The machine is provided with two hooks for lifting, weld-
ed to the frame. Use suitable eyebolt rings and cords rel-
ative to the weight of the machine (see technical data
table).
The machine must be stored in a protected location. Where it is
stored for a long period of time, it is necessary to completely empty the
water circuit (operrating the machine for a few seconds with the water
suppin off and with the spray gun on) and protect the machine from
dust. When functional once again, it is necessary to check that there
are no cracks or cuts in the hydraulic pipes.
PRECAUTIONS AGAINST FREEZING
During the winter season, the high pressure cleaner must not be
exposed to freezing, unless during normal functioning. We therefore
recommend, when operational activity has ceased, and before com-
pletely stopping the machine, closing the water supply tap and allowing
Fig. 5
the high pressure cleaner to function until the hydraulic circuit is com-
pletely empty.
Where there are extended pauses at low temperature, we recom-
mend using an antifreeze product. After emptying the hydraulic circuit,
operate the high pressure cleaner, directly taking up the antifreeze liq-
uid through the water intake pipe and through the detergent intake pipe
until completely filling the hydraulic circuit.
Antifreeze liquid is a harmful product for the environ-
ment, and as a result it is important to follow the in-
structions set out on the product packaging.
8. MAINTENANCE OPERATIONS
Attention
All the operations described in this paragraph must only
be carried out by professionally qualified personnel.
Attention
Use only original spare parts; contact technical assis-
tance centres for any requirements you may have.
For regular and safe functioning of the machine, it is necessary to
periodically carry out the operations set out in the rest of this para-
graph.
Attention
Before starting the operation it is necessary to:
• stop the machine in accordance with the instructions
set out in the "STOP" paragraph;
• disconnect the electricity supply, removing the plug;
• turn off the water supply tap and unscrew the water in-
let pipe.
CONTROL OF LEVEL AND PUMP OIL CHANGE
The oil level in the pump must be periodically checked using the
appropriate level control rod. The oil must be replaced after the first 50
on hours of functioning and subsequently every 500 hours of opera-
tional activity, using SAE 20/30 antifoam oil; to replace the oil, it is nec-
essary to unscrew the oil discharge cap, allowing the oil to drip into a
container for liquids (see Fig. 6).

The oil collected must not be dispersed in the environ-
ment, but disposed of in compliance with current laws.
Screw on the discharge cap and introduce oil from the upper hole,
up to cover the half of the control window.
WATER FILTER CLEANING
The filter, which is located inside the rubber fitting at the inlet to
the H.P. pump, must be frequently cleaned and carefully remounted to
avoid any air intake (see Fig. 7).
