- To fully fill the reservoir, turn the spray can upside down and insert the nozzle in the refill valve.
- Firmly push down on the spray can for 10 seconds then release.
There are about 15 to 20 sprays in each reservoir.
It is very important to refill the reservoir before the spray reservoir runs dry. Otherwise, your dog
understands that he/she can stop the sprays by barking during a certain amount of time and associates
barking with reward.

Replacing battery

The battery supplied in the collar is a SAFT 3,6 Volt Lithium battery.
Battery life:
- approximately 5 years in stand-by
- approximately 3 years on a basis of 15 sprays per day
Caution: The battery can only be replaced by the manufacturer.
For further information, please contact your distributor.
Caution: Do not under any circumstances open the IKI SPRAY collar. You could damage components.
Moreover, opening the collar voids your guarantee.

Fitting the collar

Collar adjustment is very important:
- If the nylon strap is too loose, the collar is likely to move and it will not operate properly.
- If the nylon strap is too tight, the dog will have difficulty breathing.
The nylon strap is properly adjusted when you can insert two fingers between the strap and your dog's
neck.
The collar must be positioned on your dog's neck with:
- The spray valve and the microphone pointing up toward your dog's snout (See Diagram 4).
- The refill valve directed downward. It is visible and not in contact with your dog's neck (See Diagram 4).
If you have a long haired dog, make sure that the spray reaches the dog's snout area. If necessary, trim
the hair on your dog's neck.
Do not leave the IKI Spray collar on your dog more than 8 hours a day.
