BEFORE USING THE APPLIANCE THE FIRST TIME
1.
Remove all packaging materials and transport safeguards. Keep the packag-
ing elements away from children - danger of suffocation!
2.
Ensure that the top of the baking pan is pointing upward - the indicator
lamps must be visible.
3.
Open the appliance by pulling the handle upward.
4.
Hold both handles to remove the carrier plate and clean the carrier plate in
lukewarm water to which you can add a mild washing-up liquid.
5.
Before first use, clean the inside of the baking pan (upper part and lower
part) with a damp cloth.
6.
Thoroughly dry all cleaned parts.
7.
Put the completely dried carrier plate back into the appliance. Ensure that
the handles of the carrier plate fit precisely in the corresponding two apertures
of the lower part of the baking pan, otherwise the appliance cannot be closed
and rotated.
8.
Apply heat-resistant vegetable oil to the inside of the baking pan. Use a
pastry brush or a paper towel, if necessary, to do this. Alternatively you can
spray the inside of the baking pan with a cooking spray (available in special-
ist shops or supermarkets).
9.
Close the appliance.
10. Plug the mains plug into an electrical outlet (230 V~, 50 Hz). The orange
indicator lamp lights up and shows that the appliance is in operation.
11. The green indicator light will be illuminated as soon as the pre-heating phase
ends.
12. Unplug the power plug and allow the appliance to completely cool.
13. After pre-heating the appliance there may already be visible traces of use;
however, these do not affect the function of the appliance and do not con-
stitute grounds for a complaint.
14. Caution: The first cake that you bake is not suitable for consumption and
must be disposed of.
PREPARING THE CAKE
1.
Place the appliance on a level, heat-resistant surface.
2.
Ensure that the top of the baking pan is pointing upward - the indicator
lamps must be visible.
3.
Open the appliance by pulling the handle upward
