FIXING THE BURNER TO THE BOILER
(STEEL FLANGES) FOR MODELS BT 40 -
50 - 75 - 180 - 250 - 300 - 350 DSN 4T
To tighten the flange, lift the burner so that the combustion
!
head is horizontal. The flange must be tightened onto the
burner combustion head, in a suitable position to allow the
combustion head to enter the furnace deep enough (the
suitable depth must be indicated by the boiler manufacturer).
The burner is connected correctly if the pre-heater tank is slightly
tilted (with the side where the fuel exits to the spray nozzle in a higher
position) in order to avoid gas build-up in the tank itself.
Gas build-up in the pre-heater increases significantly the time it
takes for the fuel to reach the correct pressure. This may cause the
burner to shut down.
During connection to the boiler, make sure that the burner is not
positioned in such a way as to counteract this tilt and that the pre-
heater is not tilted in the opposite direction to what indicated above.
