VIKING recommends mounting the
two gauge wheels in a lower bore.
In the lowest position, the gauge
wheels increase the distance
between the mowing deck and the
ground, ensuring an optimum
supply of air. The result is a more
attractive cutting pattern and better
collecting performance.

13.7 Mowing
If the mowing deck is engaged
when driving, the engine speed is
briefly reduced due to the additional
load (mowing blades starting to
rotate).
Before mowing:
● Read and observe the section "Notes
on working with the machine". (
● Always set the maximum engine speed
during mowing. The mowing blade is
optimised for this speed – it produces
the best cutting pattern as well as the
most powerful suction effect for
collection of the clippings.
Engage the mowing deck in the
following sequence:
● Start the engine. (
