4.2 General safety instructions

Packaging materials must be kept out of the reach of children.

Altered centre of gravity resulting from use of the seat cushion
Risk of tipping over or falling due to unstable settings
After installing the seat cushion in the wheelchair, always check the user's sitting position
and the wheelchair's centre of gravity. The sitting position and centre of gravity must be
appropriate for the intended use and the user's requirements. Work with the user to find the
optimal sitting position.
If necessary, adjust the position of the seat and axle to improve stability. Alternatively assess
the suitability of anti-tip devices.
CAUTION
Lack of testing prior to long-term use
Risk of skin reddening or pressure sore formation due to incorrectly selected seat cushion
Any seat cushion should be tried out by the user under medical supervision for several hours
prior to long-term use. The skin should be monitored for redness and/or other damage.
