7.4 Cleaning
NOTICE
Improper cleaning of the wheelchair seat cushion
Risk of damage to seat cushion due to user error
Do not wash the lateral inserts, Floam cells or foam base in the washing machine.
Do not dry the seat cushion and its components in the tumble dryer.
Gently wipe the surface of the lateral inserts, Floam cells and foam base with a soft, damp
cloth or sponge; do not rub. Do not use a brush or similar on the surface.
Do not wash the covers at a temperature higher than specified. The covers can shrink when
washed at higher temperatures. This could impede the seat cushion's ability to redistribute
pressure and damage the fabric.
Do not use any bleaching agents or fabric softeners for cleaning.
INFORMATION
In case of advanced wear and tear, replace the components that are available as spare
parts.
To disinfect the cover, add a standard hygiene detergent during washing.
In case of heavy incontinence, an additional incontinence cover should be used. Please
observe the care and cleaning instructions for the incontinence cover.
Clean the product every month.

4) The covers can be washed at +60 °C [+140 °F] using a mild, environmentally friendly deter
gent.
Recommendation: Wash the covers using the delicate cycle at +40 °C [+104 °F] to prevent
excessive wear and tear.
