Starting the tractor

When the engine is started for the first time or if
the engine has run out of fuel, it will require some
additional rotations to move the fuel from the tank
to the engine.
Warning!
Do not operate the tractor if the safety latches are
not working. This system was designed for operator
safety and protection.
1. Insert the key into the ignition;
2. Turn the blade actuating lever to the OFF position;
3. Trigger the parking brake;
4. Pull the choke;
5. Turn the key clockwise to the START position. After
the tractor engages, release the key, it will return
to the ON position or the NORMAL MOWING
position. Do not hold the key in the starting
position after the engine runs, as it may cause
damage to the electrical starting system;
6. After the tractor is turned on, return the choke
and set the throttle lever to FAST speed. Do not
leave the choke triggered while operating the
tractor. Otherwise, the engine performance will be
impaired.
Note:
Before starting, read below the starting procedures
for hot weather and in cold weather.
Starting in cold weather (below 10 °C)
1. To start the tractor with the engine cold, move
the throttle control lever to the second stage by
pressing the choke (N), then start and wait for the
rotation to normalize. Subsequently, return the
throttle control lever. If the engine starts to run
precariously, position the throttle control lever
to the second stage by triggering the throttle (N),
and wait for the engine speed to stabilize. Then,
return the throttle control lever. Heating the engine
may take several seconds, depending on the
temperature.

Stopping the engine

1. If the blades are engaged, turn the blade triggering
lever to the OFF position;
2. Turn the start key counterclockwise to the STOP
position;
3. Remove the ignition key to prevent accidental
starting.
