General recommendations
This tractor warranty does not cover items subject
to operator abuse or neglect. To have full warranty
rights, the operator must maintain the tractor in
accordance with the instructions in this manual.
You will need to make some periodic adjustments
to maintain your tractor properly. Check frequently
if you need to make some of the adjustments
described in the Repairs and Adjustments section
of this manual.
At least once a year, replace the spark plug,
clean or replace the air filter, and check for
wear on the blades and belts. A new spark
plug and a clean air filter ensure adequate
blend of air and fuel, improving the engine
performance and boosting the engine life.
Before each use
1. Check the engine oil level;
2. Check the brake operation;
3. Check the tire pressure;
4. Check that the reverse mode system is operating
properly;
5. Check for loose fasteners.

reases
1. Synthetic SAE 5W30 engine oil;
2. Grease of general use;
3. Refer to the Maintenance section in the "ENGINE"
section;
4. Steering bar gear.
Important:
Avoid lubricating or greasing pivoted points that
have special nylon bearings. Viscous lubricants will
attract dust and dirt, thus reducing the life of self-
lubricating bearings. If they need to be lubricated,
use only a dry lubricant made of powdered
graphite in a moderate manner.
Tractor
Always observe safety rules when performing any
maintenance.
Brake operation
If the tractor requires more than 1.5 m to be fully
immobilized at the highest gear, on a level surface
of dry or paved concrete, then the brake must be
adjusted (see "Checking the brake" in the Repairs
and Adjustments section of this manual).

due to small air leaks, you can use tire sealant
purchased from your nearest dealer. The sealant
can also prevent dryness and corrosion of the
tires.
Maintain adequate air pressure on all tires (see
the PSI pressure level in the tires).
Keep tires free of gasoline, oil or insecticides,
which can damage the rubber.
Try to avoid stumps, stones, deep furrows,
sharp objects and other obstacles that can
cause tire damage.
