The mains plug may only be inserted in a socket with earthing contact. The
protective effect must not be nullified by an extension cable without protective
conductor. Any interruption of the protective conductor inside or outside the
device or disconnection of the protective conductor connection may cause the
device to become dangerous. Intentional interruption is not permitted.
To ensure safe operation fasten the instrument on a support stand.
The On/Off switch does not disconnect the instrument from the power source.
Remove the plug from the AC power outlet to disconnect the instrument from the
mains supply entirely.

Protect the vessel containing the liquid to be stirred against rotation, vibration and
movement by means of suitable clamping devices.

Before changing the stirrer blade first switch off the instrument and disconnect the
instrument from the mains supply entirely.
Do not start the motor until the properly mounted stirring blade is immersed deep
enough in the liquid.

Make sure that the liquid cannot be splashed out of the vessel by using a suitable
container which is high enough to make sure the walls protrude adequately over
the liquid level. A suitable lid is useful as a splash guard.
Wear protective clothing and gloves in case you expect splashing of the liquid.
Make sure the chuck is not immersed into the liquid to be mixed.
