6. Operation

Caution:
When connecting the instrument to an AC power outlet, ensure that your local
supply voltage corresponds to the specifications indicated on the instrument.
Caution
Please do not use this instrument in insecure environment especially not in
explosive ambience. Danger of life!
Caution:
Disconnect the instrument from the mains supply as a protection against
unauthorised or accidental operation whenever you stop the work.
Caution:
Always start stirring with the lowest speed and then rev up according to the
required intensity.
There are the following operating elements:
Toggle switch I/O (on/off)

R18 and R50: rotary knob with scale for adjustment of the speed

R50 D: rotary knob for adjustment of the speed, speed will be shown in the digital
●
display
Select the suitable stirring tool for the intended purpose, insert it into the chuck and fasten
tight. Set the speed by means of the rotary knob to the lowest possible speed. Switch on the
instrument and adjust the speed to the desired value.
Should an overload occur from overheating during continual operations or of a too hot
ambient, the red LED will show overload and the electronic will reduce the power intake. The
motor will switch off if continuously over heated. After a cool down period and switching the
unit off and on again, the motor will operate as normal.

7. Cleaning and maintenance

The outer casing of the instrument consists of lacquered or anodised aluminium and a
chemically resistant splash-proof membrane key pad. To clean the instrument, use a damp
cloth and a mild soap solution. Do not use steel wool or any similar aggressive cleaning
agents to clean the instrument. The surface of the instrument could be damaged.
Attention:
Do not open the instrument. Repairs are only to be carried out by trained service
technicians.
