electrocution
DANGER
Failure to heed this warning involves a risk of
harm to persons or damage to things.
ATTENTION
Failure to heed this warning involves a risk
of damaging the pump or the installation.
1. GENERAL CONSIDERATIONS
The purpose of the instructions we provide is to give information about
correct installation and optimum performance of our pumps.
They are self-suction, horizontal, multi-stage, centrifugal pumps. They
are equipped with a recirculation system with automatic valve to provi-
de suction down to lengths of 9 metres. Instantaneous suction is achie-
ved by using a bottom valve.
They are designed for working with clean waters, free from suspended
solids and at a maximum temperature of 35°C.
Correct following of the installation and use instructions ensures
good pump operation.
Failure to observe the instructions in this manual can lead to
overloading of the motor, harm to the technical characteristics,
reduced pump life and consequences of all kinds, in relation to
which we decline all responsibility.

Risk of electrocution. The pump must not be used in a swimming
pool while there are bathers in the water.
2. INSTALLATION
2.1. Attachment
The pump must rest on a solid, horizontal base.
It can be fixed to the base using screws, utilising the holes provided in
the base to ensure mounting stability (2 Ø8 screws).
2.2. Fitting the suction pipes
The suction piping must have a diameter equal to or, if the piping runs
for more than 7 metres, greater than the pump inlet mouth, while retai-
ning at all times a minimum 2% upward slope in order to prevent air poc-
kets forming.
If the pump is installed in the suction section, this must be done as close
as possible to the level of the water in order to reduce suction travel
length and thus prevent losses of head.
It is advisable to fit a foot valve in order to prevent the pipes draining.
It is essential that suction piping is installed submerged at least 30 cm
beneath the dynamic level of the water.
2.3. Fitting the discharge pipes
It is recommended that piping of a diameter equal to or greater that of
the discharge mouth be used in order to reduce head losses in long,
winding pipe sections.
The weight of the pipes must never rest on the pump.
The pump is fitted with a check valve in the discharge section, for which
reason it is not advisable to fit another in the pipes.
In order to ensure leaktightness at the discharge inlet, it should be sea-
led, using only Teflon tape.
If the sprinkler installation has dripping zones which consume less than
100 litres/hour, it is advisable to fit an expansion tank of minimum 25
litres capacity in the discharge section in order to avoid constant pump
stoppage and starting.
