With your right hand,
: slowly pull out the starter handle as
far as the stop – then pull it through
quickly and strongly – do not pull the
rope out completely
It may break!
Do not let the starter handle snap
back – guide it back into place
vertically so that the starter rope is
rewound correctly
: If the engine is new, pull the starter
rope through several times to
ensure that sufficient fuel is
delivered.

When the engine has turned over
for the first time:
: Push the choke lever (4) in the
direction opposite to the arrow
Machines with decompression
valve:
:
Press the decompression valve
button (5) again before each further
attempt to start the engine –
continue cranking
As soon as the engine is running,
:
briefly blip the throttle trigger once,
the slide control (3) returns to the
normal position # – and the engine
idles
If the carburetor has been set
correctly, the abrasive wheel must
not turn when the engine idles.
The cut-off machine is now ready for
use.
Switching off
Set the slide control (3) to "0" i
If the temperature is very low:
let the engine warm up
When the engine has started:

Briefly blip the throttle trigger =

disengage starting throttle position,
– slide control returns to the normal
position # and the engine idles
: Gently press the throttle trigger and
let the engine warm up
