Commissioning

WARNING
Unexpected movement of components.
Injury due to impacts or pinching.
• Protect positioning range from access (e.g. with
protective guards).
• Make sure that no foreign objects are present
in the positioning range.
Note
• Ensure that:
– Only qualified specialized personnel makes the settings.
– The holding force corresponds to the specified values (è 6.4. Checking clamping
force/overtravel).
– The limit values are not exceeded (è 13 Technical data).
Note
Clamping without round material will destroy the inside clamping component.
• Make sure that the clamping unit KEC is always pressurised if round material is not
introduced.
If the clamping unit KEC is exhausted without round material inserted, the high
spring force will deform the inside clamping component until it cannot function.
