Control unit and connection
cord
Clean the housing surface of the control
unit and the cable as necessary with a
clean, damp cloth.
NOTE:
Do not hold the control unit under
running water and do not use liquid
cleaning agents. If liquid gets into the
control unit, the electronics may be
damaged and the control unit may no
longer function properly.
If liquid does get into the control unit,
contact the local service partner
immediately.

Nebuliser

Cleaning

Clean the nebuliser handset (incl. aerosol
head) immediately after each application.
• Place all nebuliser parts as well as the
aerosol head in warm tap water with a
little washing up liquid for approx.
5 minutes. If the parts are heavily soiled,
move the nebuliser parts gently back
and forth in the washing water.
• Rinse all nebuliser parts and the front
and back of the aerosol head thoroughly
under running tap water.

• Shake all parts to remove excess water
more quickly.
• Place the individual parts on a dry, clean
surface and allow to dry completely:
CAUTION:
Moisture promotes the growth of bacte-
ria. Please ensure adequate drying after
each cleaning.

Disinfection

Disinfect the nebuliser handset parts and
the aerosol head at least once a day, e.g.,
immediately after cleaning at the end of
the day (a nebuliser handset cannot be
disinfected effectively unless it has been
cleaned first).
NOTE:
Do not attempt to disinfect the aerosol
head in a microwave oven as it cannot
be ensured that the product compo-
nents will not be damaged.
