When the SmartMonitor 2 is turned off without pushing the RESET button first, the green power light will remain on and the
Sibling Alarm will sound. To silence the Sibling Alarm:
•
Press and hold the blue RESET button.
•
Press and release the gray POWER button.
•
Wait 2 seconds then release the RESET button.
•
To resume monitoring, press the gray POWER button.
If there is an internal software error, a special power off procedure is required.
•
Press and hold the RESET button, while still holding down the RESET button press and hold the POWER button. Hold
both buttons down for 5 seconds.
•
Release POWER button; continue to hold the RESET button until the monitor turns off.
