Wheel Assembly
Instructions (Boss 400)
1. Insert clevis pin through hole in wheel and brackets.
2. Push cotter pin through hole in clevis pin to secure in
place.

Handle Assembly
Instructions (Boss 400)
1. Align holes in U- handle to four holes at underside of
fan end of heater.
2. Install one each 1 1/2 in. cap screw, lock washer, and
fl at washer at all locations. Tighten all securely.

Storage Instructions

The heater may be stacked or stored on end.
Stacking the heater:
DO NOT stack more than two high.

Storing on End:

CLEVIS PIN
Moving/Transporting
the Heater
NEVER transport the heater while stacked or
standing on its end. Transport only while on its
wheels and support.
BOSS 400 DF AND BOSS 1000 DF:
Lift up on the main handle to move the heater on its
wheels. (The Boss 1000 also incudes two folding
handles for heater movement.)
Boss 1000 DF: Includes a lifting ring located on its
case top. Attach chain or cable at this point and lift
slowly.
