. Troubleshooting
The followng table lsts common problems, possble causes and remedes. If the
problem perssts, contact Ohaus or your authorzed Ohaus dealer.
Symptom
Scale wll not turn on
Battery fals to charge fully.
Weght readng does not
stablze.
Scale does not dsplay
accurately.

Possible Causes
AC power not connected to scale
or to outlet.
No power n outlet.
Battery dscharged.
Battery s defectve or past ts
useful lfe.
Unstable envronment.
Interference under pan or sub-
platform.
Improper calbraton
Overload condton: Load on the
pan exceeds scale capacty +9d
Underload condton: No load on
the pan, exceeds scale zero -9d
Unstable condton.
Cannot establsh zero.
RAM error
ROM error
EEPROM error
Checkwegh target settng error
Software runnng error
Remedy
Connect scale to power.
Connect scale to power and
charge battery.
Connect to dfferent power outlet.
Replace battery.
Have the battery replaced by an
authorzed Ohaus servce dealer.
Ensure a stable envronment.
Ensure that the weghng
pan and sub-platform are
unobstructed.
Calbrate the scale usng proper
calbraton weghts.
Reduce the load on the pan.
Re-zero the scale.
Install the pan on the sub-
platform.
Re-zero the scale.
Stuate n a stable envronment.
Releve nternal pressure from
the scale by loosenng the
levelng feet.
Clear possble obstructons on
the vent holes under the rear feet.
Remove the weght on the pan
that may exceed the power-on
zero range.
Turn the scale off and on agan.
Recalbrate the scale.
Return scale for servce
Revew setup and re-enter
correct Over-Under values
Turn the scale off and on agan.
Replace battery.
