Faulty or malfunctioning safety devices may
lead to life-threatening situations.

Check the unit's safety cut-out.

If air flow conditions in the chimney are per-
manently poor, flue gases may flow back
unchecked from the chimney into the installa-
tion room if the atmospheric sensing device is
not operating.

Under no circumstances should you switch
off the atmospheric sensing device (flue
gas sensor).
>
Never tamper with this device as this may
prevent it from operating correctly.
The faults listed below may only be rectified by a quali-
fied engineer.
• Only use genuine spare parts for repairs.
• Make sure the parts are correctly fitted and that their
original position and alignment are retained.

Remedy
Replace the batteries with
new ones.
Make sure the cold water
shut-off valve is open.
Clean the strainer in the
cold water supply pipe.
If the problem persists,
notify customer service.
Replace the batteries with
new ones.
Ensure the gas supply.
For liquid gas:
Replacean empty gas bot-
tle with a full one.
Make sure that the cut-off
valve on the gas connec-
tion is open.
Open and close the water
tap several times to get rid
of air in the gas supply.
Check the cable connection
to the plug contact.
Replace the electrodes.
Replace the servo valve.
If the problem persists,
notify customer service.
Ensure the gas supply.
For liquid gas:
Replace an empty gas bot-
tle with a full one.
Open and close the water
tap several times to get rid
of air in the gas supply.
Check the ionisation cur-
rent. Check the cable con-
nection. Replace the ionisa-
tion electrode is necessary.
If the problem persists,
notify customer service.
Replace the batteries with
new ones.
Check that the flue system
is correctly installed and is
long enough.
Make sure that the flue gas
exit is unrestricted.
Replace the safety thermo-
stat or the flue gas sensor
along with their cables.
If the problem persists,
notify customer service.
Contact your heating engi-
neer.
