General information
The atmoMAG mini appliances are delivered ready for
connection. They only need to be connected to the pipes
and the flue system. They are designed to supply one or
more extraction points, such as wash basins, showers
and bathtubs, with hot water.
The appliances must be fitted to a flue system with a
natural draught (chimney).
They have an automatic ignition and monitoring system
for the main burner, which means that gas is saved, due
to the lack of a constantly burning pilot flame.
A battery provides the power supply for the electronic
ignition of the gas instantaneous water heater.
The appliances are designed for installation outside or
in suitably ventilated rooms which are separated from
the living area. In these cases, suitable precautions must
be taken against rain and frost.
The gas instantaneous water heaters have a flue gas
sensor which stops the gas supply to the burner in the
event of a problem.
The gas instantaneous water heaters have a safety ther-
mostat which prevents further use of the appliance if
the heater element overheats.
The appliances can be adapted to the type of gas availa-
ble. To convert your appliance to a different type of gas,
please consult your heating engineer.
After installing the appliance, your heating engineer
noted its exact designation in the installation manual, in
table 9.2 with reference to the gas type used.

Special product features
You can preselect the maximum performance of the
appliance according to your needs on ten levels
between 50 % and 100 %. At around the preselected
performance level, the gas quantity is smoothly adapted
to the quantity of water flowing.
This feature provides the following benefits:
–
The appliance only consumes as much gas as is cur-
rently required. This maintains a constant tempera-
ture in the entire extraction area of the appliance.
–
Any thermostat mixers and single-lever mixers can be
used.
–
The appliances can also be used to supply consumers
with low extraction volumes, such as bidets, because
hot water can be drawn at a constant temperature in
volumes as little as 2.2 litres per minute.
–
The appliances can also be used without any prob-
lems in areas where the water pressure is low (from
0,02 MPa (0,2 bar) .
–
There is no manual ignition.
