Installation of the PC

▷ Connect the mains cable to the power supply

connection of the PC as well as to a mains
socket outlet.
▷ Connect a network cable to the network connec-
tion of the PC and the Internet router/modem.
▷ Connect the monitor and PC using the provided
display port cable.
▷ Connect the mouse and the keyboard to the PC.
5.4 Installation of the software on the
PC
▷ Execute installation routine of the provided
software as administrator.

Installation of the scanner

As each scanner is individually factory-cal-
ibrated, the data on the USB stick are only
valid for the respective scanner.
Prior to installation:
▷ Check if the serial number of the scan-
ner on the type plate is identical with the
serial number stated on the USB stick!
Prior to installation:
▷ Make sure that the main switch of the scanner is
positioned on 0.
▷ Connect the provided USB cable to the scanner
and PC (USB 2.0).).
▷ Insert the CAD Dongle in a free USB port on the
rear side of the PC.
▷ Connect the mains cable to the power supply
connection of the scanner as well as to a mains
socket outlet.

Activating additional modules

Additional modules must be activated in the scan-
ner software before they can be used.
▷ Click on
Options > Access > Add Activation
Code...
to enter the received scanner-specific
activation code.
▷ Restart the software to activate the module.
