General Safety Instruc-
tions
When installing, starting-up and operating the
machine, always observe the following safety
instructions:
CAUTION:
A defective machine can lead to malfunctions!
On detection of damage or a functional defect of
the machine:
▷ Label the machine as defective.
▷ Prevent further operation until the machine
has been repaired.
CAUTION:
When scanning, there is danger of crush injuries
between the scanner arm and housing, as well as
the risk of injury from clothing, jewellery or hair
being drawn in.
▷ Do not reach into the scan chamber during
scanning.
▷ Observe warning stickers on the unit.
CAUTION:
Possible health hazard through strip light!
The scanner operates with stripe light. Continu-
ous visual contact with stripe light can trigger
epileptic seizures, migraines, etc.
▷ Do not operate the scanner in the presence of
persons with such a health predisposition.
G E N E R A L S A F E T Y I N S T R U C T I O N S
NOTE:
Possible damage to the scanner and models due
to missing or incorrect fastening!
The movement of the axes in the scanner can
cause unsecured or incorrectly secured models
to fall down during scanning.
▷ Do not place objects on or inside the scanner.
▷ Do not place models in the scanner without fas-
tening them.
▷ Use only the provided object holders or
approved accessories for fastening the models.
▷ Affix occlusion models only with new, sturdy
rubber bands. Thin or porous rubber bands can
tear.
NOTE:
▷ Switch the machine off when not in use or
unsupervised for longer periods, e.g., over-
night. This method of saving electrical energy
also benefits the environment.

NOTE:
Starting-up and operation of the machine may
only be carried out by trained specialised per-
sonnel.
