6.5.2 Usage
The models are scanned in two sequences:
_ Scanning of the upper and lower jaw models in
occlusion.
_ Scanning of the adjoining and freely-positioned
upper and lower jaw models in the All-In Bar.
Scanning the models in occlusion
The placement of the model on the univer-
sal plate should be performed outside of
the scanner.
▷ Centrally affix the model to be scanned with the
fixing spring lever (alternatively using a rubber
band) on the universal plate.

Always position models in such a manner
that they are within the scan focus.
▷ Position the universal plate into the scanner.
▷ Scan the models.
Scanning the freely-positioned models
The placement of the model on the univer-
sal plate should be performed outside of
the scanner.
▷ Insert the All-In Bar via the holding pins in the
respective holes of the universal plate.
