Cylinder connection
The pressure reducer is mounted in the lower area of the carrying plate
(see Fig. 2). On this you will find the safety valve, a warning device (signal
whistle), the medium pressure line and the pressure gauge line, on the end of
which the pressure gauge is connected. The pressure reducer reduces the
cylinder pressure to approx. 7 bar.
The safety valve activates with non-permitted pressure rise (at about 11 bar) to
prevent damage and to assure the supply of breathable air.
The warning device triggers a continuous warning signal when the cylinder
pressure drops below 105±5 bar (set in the factory).

Pressure gauge
The pressure gauge (see Fig. 3) is connected to the end of the pressure gauge
line.
The medium pressure line ends in the medium pressure coupling onto which the
lung governed demand valve is connected.
