The macerator and its connections is integral with the
WC pan itself. The access to the apparatus must be
facilitated for control and maintenance.
The crusher has fastenings preventing it turning or from
floating.

CONNECTION OF DISCHARGE PIPE TO SANISAN
Insert one of the elbow

and turn in the required direction. Secure with jubilee clip.
Fit the flexible hose
to the other end of elbow

• a 22mm discharge pipe (copper or CPVC) to the flexible
hose
, and secure with a jubilee clip.

• alternatively fit a 32/22mm reducer
and install with 32mm pipework.

Insert the elbow
into the exit pipe from the unit, and turn

it to the direction required. Fit the non-return valve

WARNING:
The non-return valve
positioned so that the embossed arrow is on the top,
and pointing in the direction of flow.
Connect the discharge pipework directly onto the non-return
valve in 20/28mm. Alternatively, cut back the end of the
non-return valve and fit 28/32mm discharge pipework.
Secure both ends of the non-return valve with jubilee clips

Use a suitable cutter to make the opening for the washbasin
entry. There is a ridge where the hole has been partially
pre-cut. Cut the hole with care and deburr it, to avoid leaks
when the adapter
is fitted. Insert the adapter

ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
The electrical installation should be carried out by a
qualified person, and conform to BS 7671 1992 requi-
rements for electrical installation.
• The SANISAN
requires a 220/240V single phase 50 Hz
®
supply (UK specification) and should be connected to an
unswitched fused wiring connector protected by a 5 amp
fuse, or circuit breaker set to 30mA.
• The unit should be sited at least 6m away from a shower
tray.
