7.3 STARTING UP, OPERATING AND
STOPPING THE BAND SAW
IMPORTANT
When the machine is not in use, the power
switch must always be in the OFF position to
avoid injury.
To start up the band saw first press back the unblocking
actuator (A) and then raise the start up actuator (B) -
(Fig. 11).

Both actuators are located on both the upper and the
lower sleeve. The band saw may be started up by using
either the actuators on the upper handle or using those
on the lower handle.
To keep the band saw running, keep both actuators
pressed at the same time (Fig. 12).
To stop the band saw, release either of the two actuators.

7.4 CUTTING BLADE SPEED
To change the cutting blade speed, turn the operating
control (A) to the speed you need (between "1" and "6"
from the lowest to the highest speed) - (Fig. 13, 14).
