7. OPERATING CONTROLS AND ADJUSTMENTS

7.7 ARC DEPTH END STOP

End stop (A) - (Fig. 21) controls the depth to which the
arch may be lowered for the band saw and it prevents
the cutting blade from making contact with the base
(Fig. 22).

This stop was set at the factory. If future adjustment is
ever needed, loosen the hex nut and turn the screw with
a hex wrench (A). When the depth stop is properly set,
retighten the hex nut.

7.8 GUIDE BLOCK FOR THE CUTTING
BLADE
During cutting operations there should be minimum
exposure to the cutting blade.
To adjust the guide block to the cutting blade, proceed in
the following manner:
1. Loosen the handle (A) - (Fig. 23).
2. Slide the guide assembly of the cutting blade (included
within the white rectangle) in the direction of the
arrows. The displacement must be made up until the
fastening wheels of the cutting blade (B) are as close
as possible to the piece to be cut (E), but without
interfering with it. For this reason the marked distance
should be heeded to (D) - (Fig. 24).
3. Once again tighten the handle (A).
