Caution! Risk of fire/injury from
■ Do not leave the appliance unattended during operation.
■ Keep objects made of or containing metal (e.g. cutlery, aluminium foil,
wrapping paper) away from the cooktop surface.
■ Once heated, the surface remains hot even when the appliance is switched off
and cools down only very slowly to room temperature. Before cleaning the
cooktop, you must wait until it has fully cooled down.
■ If you observe any fumes or fire during operation of the appliance, immediately
switch it of at the fuse board.
■ When deep-frying food, you must at all times monitor the cooking process.
Overheating fat and oil are highly flammable! Never attempt to extinguish
burning fat or oil with water (risk of explosion!). Quench the fire with wet cloths
and keep doors and windows closed.
■ Keep the appliance away from pets. Risk of injury from burning!
