PROGRAMMING THE INTERFACE OF THE VALIDATOR
N.B.: The dip-switch SW1-2 placed on the control card (Fig. 4) of the vending machine must be in
position OFF = normal executive coin mechanism.
After having installed the interface on the machine, engage the two door microswitches through the keys in
equipment (1 on the machine and the other in the spare part equipment). Press pushbutton A (Fig. 5) placed
on the interface to enter the programming. 'C 01' will appear on the display.
In this situation the pushbuttons of the machine will take the following functions:
PUSHBUTTON 1 = increment.
PUSHBUTTON 2 = decrement.
PUSHBUTTON 3 = confirmation.

PUSHBUTTON 4 = exit or return to the preceding level.

G There are the following 2 programming menus:

C 01 = Setting the prices of the discs.
I C 02 = Setting the values of the coins in the validator.

Use pushbuttons 1/2 (increment/decrement) to pass from one menu to the other, to scroll the parameters of

a menu and to modify the value of one parameter.
Use pushbutton 3 (confirmation) to enter a menu and pushbutton 4 (exit) to exit the menu or the
programming.
Example: Setting the value of the price for disc 5.
1. Enter the programming by pressing pushbutton A on the interface card. C 01 appears on the display.
2. Enter the menu 'setting the prices' by pressing the pushbutton 3 on the pushbutton panel. P 01 appears
on the display.
3. Press pushbutton 1 (increment) till P 05 appears on the display.
4. Press pushbutton 3 (confirmation) to access the present value of the set price which will appear on the
display.
5. Set the requested value of the price through the pushbuttons 1/2.
6. Press pushbutton 3 (confirmation) to memorize the set value. P 05 appears again on the display.
7. Repeat the points from 3 to 6 to program another price or press pushbutton 4 (exit) to return to the starting
level.
Example: Programming the value of coin B of the validator.
1. Enter the programming by pressing pushbutton A on the interface card. C 01 appears on the display.
2. Press pushbutton 1 (increment) till C 02 appears on the display.
3. Enter the menu setting the value of the coins by pressing the pushbutton 3 (confirmation) on the
pushbutton panel of the machine. S 01 appears on the display.
4. Press pushbutton 1 (increment) till S 02 appears on the display.
5. Press pushbutton 3 (confirmation) to access the present value which will appear on the display.
6. Set the requested value of the price through the pushbuttons 1/2.
7. Press pushbutton 3 (confirmation to memorize the set value. S 02 appears again on the display.
8. Repeat the points from 4 to 7 to program another value or press pushbutton 4 (exit) to return to the
starting level.
