CEBORA S.p.A.
On the Control Panel it is shown on display O, when the led C is lit.
5.3.2
Arc Length correction.
Operative in Standard program mode and Pulsed arc program mode.
Sets the "Arc Length" correction.
A reading of 50% on the Robot Terminal corresponds to "correction zero" (default = no correction); 0%
corresponds to a correction of –9.9 and 100% to a correction of +9.9.
On the Control Panel, the values –9.9 to +9.9 are shown on display P when the led K is lit.
If the led K is not selected, during the change the correction function is automatically signaled for 5
seconds after the led K comes on, and the corresponding value appears on display P of the Control Panel.
Once this period has elapsed the Control Panel returns to its previous state.
5.3.3
Inductance.
Operative in Standard program mode and Pulsed arc program mode.
Sets the variations in inductance.
The Inductance adjustment may be activated via the "inductance disable" function, which may be
controlled using the dipswitch S1-3 on the "Robot Interface":
with "inductance disable" active (S1-3 = OFF), the "inductance" adjustment is controlled by the
Control Panel (par. 4.10.3);
with "inductance disable" not active (S1-3 = ON) the "inductance" adjustment is controlled by the
Robot Terminal.
The 50% message on the Robot Terminal corresponds to "zero" (default value); 0% corresponds to a
correction of –9.9 and 100% to a correction of +9.9.
On the Control Panel, the values –9.9 to +9.9 are shown on display P when the led L is lit.
If the led L is not selected, during the change the correction function is automatically signaled for 5
seconds after the led L comes on, and the corresponding value appears on display P of the Control Panel.
Once this period has elapsed the Control Panel returns to its previous state.
5.3.4
Burn-back time Correction.
Set the wire length exiting the torch nozzle after welding, expressed as a time interval (milliseconds).
The Burn-Back Time Correction adjustment is enabled or disabled by means the Burn-Back Time
Correction Disable function, available on RAI211 and RDI210 Robot Interfaces.
The corresponding bit is controlable with dip switch S1-4 on RAI211 Robot Interface or with the signal
"I100" of the Data-In Process Image on RDI210 Robot Interface (see Robot Interface Instruction
Manual):
- with "Burn-Back Time Correction Disable" not active (S1-4 = OFF, or I100 = low) the "Burn-
Back Time Correction" adjustment is enabled in Standard program, Pulsed arc program and
Manual modes, and follows the value set at Robot Interface analog input 4. The adjustment is carried
out via Robot Terminal;
- with "Burn-Back Time Correction Disable" active (S1-4 = ON, or I100 = high) the "Burn-back
Time Correction" is not active.
Independently from the Burn-Back Time Correction Disable function state, in Parameter Selection
Internal mode, is always possible to adjust the Burn-Back Time Correction from Control Panel (par.
4.7.3).
Correction regulation range: -125 ÷ +125 ms.
The Burn-Back Time effective value after the correction is always comprised between 4 ms. and 250 ms.
When the correction set up is equal to 0 the Burn-Back Time parameter is set to its default value,
indicated with Au (automatic).
During the variation, the value and condition of the function are automatically displayed for 5 seconds on
displays AN1 and AN2 of the Control Panel. Once this period has elapsed the Control Panel returns to its
previous state.
