CEBORA S.p.A.
Use knob N to select SC ("hot-start" current level) on display O; use knob Q to assign a value to the
field SC, visible on display P.
Use knob N to select SC ("hot-start" current level) on display O; use knob Q to assign a value to the
field tSC, visible on display P.
Use knob N to select SLo (time for switching between "hot-start" current and welding current) on
display O; use knob Q to assign a value to the field tSC, visible on display P.
Press the keys AO + E to exit the "Second Functions" menu, saving all current settings automatically.
7.5

Crater Arc (CrA).

Available starting with the firmware in release 6 for art. 287 and 13 for art. 289.
Operative in Standard program mode, Pulsed arc program mode and Manual mode.
Press the AO key and holding it down press the key E to enter the "Second Functions" menu.
Use knob N to select CrA on display O; with knob Q select the status of function, visible on display P:
OFF = not active;
On
= active.
With the function CrA active, other parameters become available.
Use knob N to select Slo (time for switching between welding current and crater current CrC) on display
O; use knob Q to assign a value to the field Slo, visible on display P.
Use knob N to select tCr on display O; use knob Q to assign a value to the field tCr, visible on display P.
Use knob N to select CrC on display O; use knob Q to assign a value to field CrC, visible on display P.
Press the keys AO + E to exit the "Second Functions" menu, saving all current settings automatically.
7.6

Double Pulse (dP) (optional on art. 287).

Operative in Standard program mode and Pulsed arc program mode.
This type of welding varies the current intensity between two levels and may be included in all synergic
programs.
Before setting, it is necessary to make a short bead to determine the speed closest to the type of welding
that you will be doing. This determines the reference speed.
Press the AO key and holding it down press the key E to enter the "Second Functions" menu.
Use knob N to select dP on display O; with knob Q select the status of the function, visible on display P:
OFF = not active;
On
= active.
With the function dP active, other parameters become available.
Use knob N to select FdP (frequency double pulse) on display O; use knob Q to select the working
frequency (range from 0.5 to 5 Hz) visible on display P.
Use knob N to select ddP (difference in m/min of the double pulse); use knob Q to select the speed (0.1 -
3 m/min, default 1 m/min) that is added to and subtracted from the reference speed, visible on display P.
Use knob N to select tdP (duration of the highest wire speed, meaning with the highest current, expressed
as a percentage of the time drawn from the frequency Fdp (see fig. 3)); use knob Q to select the
percentage (25 - 75%, default 50%), visible on display P.
Use knob N to select AdP (arc length of the highest current); use knob Q to select the percentage (-9.9 -
9.9, default 0%), visible on display P.
Make sure that the arc length in welding is the same for both currents; if necessary, turn the knob Q to
correct it (see "Examples of current profiles in Robot applications", at the end of the present manual).
