• The instrument can be built in
to an instrument panel or into a
partition of any thickness.
Screws to be used: self-tap-
ping screws ø 2.9 mm.
Maximum length of screws: 10
mm + thickness of the panel.
The instrument can be built
into a partition of up to about 8
mm
thickness
screws supplied.
• Use the template to drill holes
in the instrument panel or par-
tition. Use 4 screws to fit the
instrument. Make sure that the
gasket
is
fitted
between the instrument and
the panel or partition.
3.3 Electrical installation
See page 86 for the wiring diagram.
Fit a 4A fast fuse in the plus (+) wire. Do not use the starter batteries to provide power to
the instrument.
Position the instrument at the following minimum distances as shown:
- 30 cm from a compass
- 50 cm from radio equipment
- 2 metres from a transmitter
- 2 metres from a radar
