Type of Detergent
• "Low bubble" detergent/washing powder or washing powder specifically made for drum washing
machines must be selected according to fiber types (cotton, synthetic fiber, soft products and
wool products), colors, washing temperatures, dirty degrees and types. Otherwise, excessive
bubbles may be generated and overflow out of the drawer which may damage the unit and result
in accidents.
• Bleach can damage clothes and is suggested to be used with extreme care and as little as
possible.
• Powder detergents can leave residue in clothes. Clothes washed with powder detergents must
be thoroughly rinsed.
• Some detergents may not completely dissolve if there is too much detergent or water temperature
is too low.
• Washing method is based on weight of clothes, degree of dirtiness, local water hardness as well
as the recommendations from the detergent manufacturers. Please consult the water company if
you are not clear of water hardness.
Note:
Keep detergents and additives in a safe and dry place and out of reach of children.
Remove all Loose Articles from Clothes
Check all pockets/compartments of clothes to be washed and remove any loose items such as
decorations and coins. Loose items may damage the washing machine.
Identify and Separate Clothes to be Washed
Clothes to be washed are classified into cotton, blended fiber, synthetic fiber, silk, wool and artificial
fiber.
White and colored clothes must be identified and separated.
Note: All new colored fabrics must be washed separately.
Size:
Articles of different sizes should be washed together to increase the washing efficiency.
Sensitivity:
Soft articles should be washed separately. New pure wool textiles, curtains and silks should be
washed with soft washing procedures. Check the labels on all articles prior to washing.
Sorting:
Clothes must be sorted before being put into the washing machine. When washing curtains, make
sure any hooks are removed before being washed.
Accessories:
Loose accessories on some clothes may become damaged and/or damage the washing machine.
Clothes that contain buttons or embroideries must be turned inside-out over before being washed.
Fasteners:
Zippers must be closed and buttons or hooks must be firmly affixed. Any loose bands or ribbons
must be bound together before being washed.
