WARNING
This appliance must be properly grounded. In the event of malfunction or breakdown, grounding will
reduce the risk of electric shock by providing a path of least resistance for electric current. This
appliance is equipped with a power cord that has an equipment grounding conductor and a
grounding plug. This plug must be plugged into an appropriate outlet that is properly installed and
grounded in accordance with all local codes and ordinances.
Improper connection of the power plug can result in a risk of electric shock. Only connect to
an individual branch circuit. Check with a qualified electrician or serviceman if you are in
doubt as to whether the appliance is properly grounded. Do not modify the provided plug
with the appliance – even if it will not fit into the outlet. Have a qualified technician install the
proper wall outlet for you.
To reduce the risk of electric shock, disconnect this appliance from the power supply before
attempting any user maintenance and care. Turning the controls to the OFF position does not
disconnect this appliance from the power source.
