SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Always consider the following regarding safety:

Read the following WARNING before the installing the air conditioner.

Note the herein mentioned warnings as they contain important information regarding safety.

Keep this instructions together with the user manual for future reference after reading.
The air conditioner contains a refrigerant and can be classified as equipment under pressure. Therefore
always refer to a qualified technician for the installation and maintenance of the air conditioner. The air
conditioner has to be checked and serviced yearly by an authorised technician.

WARNING
Don't test the air conditioning yourself.
• Improper installation can cause fire, electric shocks, falling over of the device or water leakage
which can lead to injury and damage. Refer to the dealer where you purchased the device or
to an authorised installer.
Install the unit in a safe way and on a surface which can carry the weight of the unit.
• If het unit is installed on a location not suited for the weight of the unit, the unit could fall
over and cause injury.
Use the specified electrical wiring to connect the indoor and outdoor unit in a safe way, and
connect the cables securely on the connectors in the terminal block.
• An improper connection can cause fire.
Use the supplied or specified parts for the installation.
• The use of defect parts can cause injury as a result of fire, electrical shocks, falling over of the
unit etc.
Install the unit in a safe way according the installation instruction.
• An improper installation can cause injury as a result of fire, electrical shocks, falling over of the
unit or water leakage.
Always conduct activities regarding the electrical installation according the installation manual
and use a closed circuit.
• If the capacity of the mains is insufficient or if the electrical installation is incomplete, this can
cause fire or electrical shocks.
Check if there are no refrigerant leaks during or after installation.
• Leaking refrigerant is harmful to the environment and possibly contributes to global warming.
Place the cover plates of the electrical wiring of the indoor and outdoor unit back after
mounting the power cables.
• If the cover plates or the connections for the electrical wiring are not placed in the correct way,
this can cause fire or electrical shocks as a result of water, dust, risk of contact etc.
