10. ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION

Use a separate circuit for the air conditioner. Ensure the circuit is protected by a suitable fuse. See
table below.
•
The supply voltage must be within 95%~105% of the rated voltage, which is specified on the rating
label.
•
The supply circuit must be protected by an earth-leakage circuit breaker.
•
Ensure that the air conditioning is properly grounded.
•
Connect the cables according the wiring diagram. See Chapter 11.
•
All wiring has to comply with national and local electrical standards and regulations and has to be
connected by qualified technicians.

11. CONNECTING THE POWER CABLES
11.1 Connecting the power cables for the SC 39xx models.
a.
A power cable with a length of 4.0 meter for the electrical connection between indoor and outdoor
unit is supplied with the device and can be found in the packaging of the refrigerant piping (indoor
unit).
b.
This electrical cable is supplied with an electrical push fit coupling.
c.
This electrical cable is supplied with an electrical push fit coupling.
d.
Remove the cover plate of the terminal block of the outdoor unit by unscrewing the screw.
e.
Click the connector of the indoor unit into the connector of the outdoor unit and secure the cable
on the connector block with the mounted cable clamp.
f.
Connect the power cable only when the entire installation of the air conditioner is completed.
