Using a sharp knife or scissors, cut one of the
15 cm (6") long Large shrink tubes into one
11 cm (4.5") and three 13 mm (0.5") long shrink
tubes -these three will be used to secure the
Pull Cord to the cable -see Section 3.
Place the 11 cm (4.5") long piece of shrink
tube over the End Seal. The shrink tube
contains a considerable amount of glue that
is necessary to seal the splice. Due to the
substantial amount of glue, the tubing could
slide as it is being heated. In order to prevent
the movement of tubing, apply heat evenly
to shrink tube on cable side first and shrink
to halfway point. Don't use pliers to hold shrink
tube. Allow one minute for the glue to cool
down before shrinking the other half of the
tubing.

After removing from heat but while still warm,
use needle nose pliers to seal the shrink tube
at the end as shown. Use Caution that pliers
do not cut through the heat shrink tube.
Excess glue can be removed.
