5. Install Power Splice Connection
5. A-Strip Outer Jacket to Expose and Twist Copper Braid
5.A.1. Lightly cut around heater Outer Jacket
76 mm (3") from the end. Bend cable at cut
to break Outer Jacket.
5.A.2. Lightly cut Outer Jacket up the center
between first cut mark and the cable end.
Bend cable at cut to break Outer Jacket.
Remove Outer Jacket from heater cable.
5.A.3. Move braid back toward the Outer Jacket,
creating a bulge.

5.A.4. At the bulge, separate the braid to make
