5. B-Prepare Buss Wires
5.B.1. To remove Inner Jacket, Lightly cut around
Inner Jacket 56 mm (2.25") from the end
of cable. Bend cable at cut to break Inner
Jacket.
5.B.2. Lightly cut the Inner Jacket up the center
between the first cut mark and the end of
cable. Bend cable at cut to break Inner
Jacket. Remove the Inner Jacket from the
heating cable.
5.B.3. To expose Buss Wires, shave the Heating
Core material from the outside of each Buss
Wire.

Starting at the end, pull each Buss Wire
away from the Heating Core Material.
Remove exposed Heating Core Material.
Cut Buss Wires to the length of 31 mm
(1.25") and 56 mm (2.25") as shown.
For SR31J applications, bend the first 6 mm
(0.25") of the bare wire over itself creating a
hook. For TSR applications, just trim - no hook
required.
