number) for 5 seconds. A 10 minute long air purging sequence starts, which
includes several max and min speed sequences, stoppages. You may set the
knob to the desired speed level during the air purge sequence. After the
sequence is finished, the pump will continue to operate in the preset speed level.
You can interrupt the air purge sequence via turning the knob to position 3 and
turning it back to position 7 again. Or simply switch off and than switch on the
mains power.
Audible flow noises indicate that there is still air in the pump. In this case repeat
the air purging.

Setting the timer (see figure 8B)
Set the current time by turning the setting dial (1) in the direction of the arrow
until the current time matches the marking (2). Pull out the tabs (3) for the times
that the pump should run. Set the function selection switch (4):
ON = pump runs continuously,
OFF = pump is off,
(TIMER) = pump runs according to the program that is selected by the tabs.

Setting the control thermostat
Select the desired temperature using the selector knob placed on the motor
housing.

Maintenance/Disassembly
Pumps are subject to wear. If the pump is blocked or grinding noises are audible,
check the pump and replace it if necessary.
Procedure:
- De-energize the electrical connection with the swich
- Disconnect pump from the mains cable.
- Close the connecting pipelines.
- Loosen the union nut and remove the motor. Residual water may leak
out of the rotor cavity. Prevent the electrical connection to the pump
from getting wet.
-Check for any foreign object in the rotor cavity, if you find any, remove
it.
-Check for wear marks on the rotor magnet surface. If there are many-
the pump has worn off and shall be replaced.
-For reconnection/new pump installation follow the installation rules
When replacing non-LOWARA motors, use the additionally included flat seal. The
groove for holding the flat seal in non-LOWARA pump housings has an additional
ridge that can cause leakage when used with an O-ring seal.
