ROTISSERIE COOKING:

Your grill was pre-drilled from factory to include mounting holes for a rotisserie. Do not use a rotisserie not
specifi cally manufactured for this grill.
Read and follow all instructions provided with the rotisserie. Save instructions for future reference.
Do not use the fryer burner when using a rotisserie.
When using an AC current rotisserie, it must be electrically grounded in accordance with local
codes, or in the absence of local codes:
In the US: The National Electrical Code – ANSI-NFPA No. 70 – Latest Edition
In Canada: the Canadian Electrical Code – CSA C22.1
The Rotisserie is equipped with a three pronged plug for your protection against electrical
shock. This plug should be plugged directly into a properly grounded 3 prong receptacle. Never
cut or remove the grounding plug. Any extension cord must also have a 3 prong receptacle.
All electrical supply cords should be kept away from water and any hot surfaces of the grill.
TURNING OFF THE GRILL:
1. Turn off the cylinder valve.
2. Turn all burner control knobs to the "OFF" position.
Note:
Turn off LP cylinder fi rst to prevent gas from being left in the
system under pressure.
CAUTION:
The cylinder valve should always be in the off,
or closed, position when the grill is not in use.

USING OTHER FEATURES OF THE GRILL:

Read instructions on lighting your grill to light the fryer burner.
Never close the fryer burner cover when the burner is lit.
Use a 10" diameter pot or smaller that does NOT have an extended handle when cooking on the
fryer burner. Center pot over burner.
Never place more than 15 pounds on the fryer burner. The fryer burner is not constructed to
hold weight exceeding 15 pounds.
Use caution to avoid bumping grill, fryer burner or pot to prevent pot from spilling contents
possibly leading to severe burns.
DO NOT use fryer burner to deep fry food in oil to avoid dangers associated with oil igniting
creating a very dangerous situation.
To get a good sear, you need a burst of intense heat so the proteins in the meat cook quickly and the sugars caramelize.
Sear-X adds an additional 12,000 BTU to the high setting of a single burner for precisely one minute, paired with a heavy
duty diamond grate, Brinkmann Sear-X will give you locked-in fl avor and perfect grill marks every time.
SEAR-X FUNCTION:
Light sear burner per "Lighting the Main Burners" instructions. To engage Sear-X function, push control knob
in on "HIGH" and LED's will turn on indicating the Sear-X function is on. Sear-X function will automatically
shut off after 1 minute. The burner will resume to the "HIGH" position.
Note:
Press the Sear-X knob once to preheat the cooking grate before searing your food.
Sear-X function will only operate in the control knob "HIGH" position (90 degrees).
When operating in the Sear-X function, you can manually disengage Sear-X function by turning sear control
knob off of "HIGH" position.
