Cleaning accessories

With the use of a filter MicroGard IIB (V-892381), MicroGard IIC
® ®
(V-892384) or a One-way Safety mouthpiece (36-SST1250) for
each patient, cleaning for the components in patient's gas path is
recommended once a month.
When using the disposable cardboard mouthpiece (adult: 36-
PSA1000, pediatric: 36-PSA1200) without a filter and under the
prerequisite that the patient was instructed only to exhale into
the transducer, the following parts have to be cleaned once a day:
adult/ pediatric adapter, transducer.
With any other use as described above all contaminated parts must
be disinfected between patients.
Important note: Used single patient nose clip pads, mouthpieces,
MicroGard IIB filter and MicroGard IIC filter must be disposed off

immediately after the use.
If there are changes on the material surfaces (cracks, brittleness)
the respective parts must be disposed off.
