ATTENTION: Make sure the fan mount has been installed as specified in the mounting instructions.
1. Mount Motor
Mount the motor to the motor adapter. Loosen bolts
(A) and (B) to adjust motor angle.
2. Attach Rear Guard
Align keyhole slots (F) on rear guard (C) with motor
thru-bolts (D). Make sure L-shaped cutouts on cage
hub are oriented as shown.
3. Secure Rear Guard
Rotate rear guard (C) clockwise so that thru-bolts
(D) are positioned at narrow end of keyhole slots.
Tighten flange nuts (F) to secure to motor.

ASSEMBLY
Tighten to 30 ft·lb
Tighten to 7 ft·lb

4. Attach Blades
Slide the blade unit (G) over motor shaft. Tighten set
screws (I) to secure blades (G)
5. Align Front Guard
Align hinge pin eyelets (J) on front guard (K) and rear
guards (C).
6. Attach Hinge Pins
Fasten front guard (K) to rear guard (C) using hinge
pins (I), starting with topmost hinge.
