Error Causes
Error 038 The back-up battery on the
Back-up battery interface circuit board is
empty empty.
Display is blank, The display contrast is bad,
despite sufficient because the temperature is
injection high.
The display circuit board is
not supplied with electricity.
The PV generator is (partly)
covered with snow.
Remedies
Have the battery (button cell) exchanged
by a qualified person. The battery is on
the LCD display circuit board.
That can happen if the ambient tempera-
ture is high. As soon as the temperature
drops, the display will work properly
again. That does not affect the injection
of electricity.
Make sure the ribbon cable between
the display circuit board and the control
circuit board is not loose. For this pur-
pose, switch the Solar Inverter off, and
disconnect the AC and DC supply.
When doing so, please observe chapter
2.1 «Safety Instructions».
Clear the snow off the PV generator,
or wait until it has melted.
