Operation is controlled via the pressure switch, which stops the motor when the maximum
pressure is reached. When the motor is stopped, the condensate is drained automatically.
The compressor must be unpressurised before it is switched on again.
Never remove the plug from the socket in order to switch off the compressor,
always press the red O button for this purpose (2, Fig. 3).
3.4.
Motor overload switch
The compressors are equipped with a motor overload and safety device: the
motor overload switch. In the event of overheating of the motor, which may be
caused by malfunctions, this device trips.
When tripped, the motor overload switch (4, Fig. 3) cuts off the power supply in order to pre-
vent damage to the motor. It is advisable to wait for a few (approx. 5) minutes before resetting
the motor overload switch manually (press in).
The compressor can then be switched on normally again.
